3. Clemson Tigers

Arguably the most disrespected team in terms of the CFP rankings wasted no time in shellacking their next opponent. I expected nothing less.

The Tigers have played a weak schedule in the abysmal ACC which is not their fault, but Clemson has no margin for error if they wish to make the final four.

Trevor Lawrence has elevated his game but has still not looked as polished as last season. That’s to be expected though as he is just a true sophomore. Clemson should cruise to 13-0 and a playoff spot, but I believe their ceiling is No. 3 barring any chaos over them.

Next, are teams ranked No. 1 and 2. I believe there is much separation between these two teams compared to the rest of college football, but slim margins split the two. They can be ranked interchangeably, but I see them like this.
