Last year was as emotionally charged as an Ohio State football vs Michigan game gets. TTUN decided to plant a flag at midfield, and chaos ensued after that. Since that moment, the Ohio State Buckeyes have been plotting their revenge. They haven't lost since.
After avenging that loss with a 27-9 victory over TTUN in Ann Arbor, the Buckeyes had thoughts of repaying the planting. Players were carrying an Ohio Against the World flag, but Ryan Day made sure that didn't happen. He wanted to win with humility, as he said in his postgame interview.
While shaking hands with a clearly dazed Sherrone Moore, he helped Moore not suffer further embarrassment. A video showed that Day told Moore to get his players off the field before something bad happened, showing that Day has ten times more class than Moore has ever shown.
Ryan Day saved Sherrone Moore from more embarrassment at the hands of Ohio State
After the game, Day helped Moore get his guys off the field after they were standing at midfield to protect from a flag being planted. Take a look at the video below.
Really interesting stuff right after the game between Sherrone Moore and Ryan Day, first the handshake, then Michigan took time to leave the field first, Ohio State waited @nbc4i pic.twitter.com/UPXhbHbmf8

Day wanted to make sure that his players had no incentive to go towards the Michigan players congregating at midfield. Had Moore not heeded Day's advice, things could have gotten even worse for him. Instead, Day wanted to make sure that he was classy throughout this entire victory.
Ohio State's win keeps them undefeated and ensures they will be the number-one team in the country when they take on Indiana for the Big Ten Championship. This win also prevents TTUn from making the College Football Playoffs for the second year in a row.
Both of those facts are something that the Buckeyes love to have as they continue to march towards their goal of winning back-to-back national championships. After that win, they look pretty close to unstoppable.
