The Ohio State football team was finally able to end the losing streak to Michigan. They took down TTUN 27-9 in a game that was total domination from the second quarter on. Ryan Day was finally able to get the monkey off his back with this win, and now he is fully embraced by the fanbase.
It was a win that showed that Day clearly was no longer afraid of this game. He let Julian Sayin throw the ball around the field throughout the entire game. Defensively, the Ohio State Buckeyes didn't allow a touchdown. They simply suffocated Bryce Underwood, which is what they set out to do.
After the game, it was a great celebration for the Buckeyes. Ryan Day made sure that his team handled it with humility. However, TTUN clearly talked about what they would do if they lost the game, based on the postgame actions they showed. They had losing on the brain.
TTUN thought about losing to the Ohio State football team based on their actions after the game
Once the final seconds had ticked off the clock, Ohio State players went into the crowd to celebrate with Ohio State fans near the end zone. Meanwhile, TTUN players were huddled around midfield. They had clearly talked about making sure the flag wasn't planted if they lost this game.
So Michigan decided ahead of time that they were going to protect the midfield logo if they lost? That’s something they actually talked about and planned for? pic.twitter.com/BUbZcIVAx2

Why would the players have congregated around midfield if they hadn't already talked about that? It's pretty clear that the Wolverines had talked about losing this game before they took the field. It was a good conversation to have because they got their butts kicked.
Ohio State never thought about losing this game for a second. They never thought they were going to lose this game, and they played like it in the second half. Ohio State controlled the ball and suffocated TTUN. It was the kind of win that showed the tide has turned in this rivalry.
Next up will be the Indiana Hoosiers, as the Buckeyes get ready to play for a Big Ten Championship. That will be the toughest game Ohio State has played so far this season. Day will make sure his players leave this victory behind and start to get ready for that one soon.
