The NFL Draft has come and gone and plenty of Ohio State Buckeyes playmakers are on their way to the pros. It's an awesome feeling for head coach Ryan Day. For the fanbase, you already know they love seeing OSU stars see their NFL dreams come true.
Such was the case for quarterback Will Howard and pass-rusher Jack Sawyer. As look would have it, the Pittsburgh Steelers decided to draft both Buckeyes standouts on Saturday. Not long after Howard got the call from the Pittsburgh front office, he reached out to his good pal.
As you might have been able to guess, Sawyer was pretty darn fired up after he learned Howard was going to be AFC North-bound with him. The two decided to hop on a quick Facetime call, with Howard sharing a photo of the two that everyone is loving:

This hits right in the feels. Howard made things better by showing love to both the Buckeyes and the Steelers. These two love everything about Ohio State and they're going to do whatever they can to keep representing the university in the best way possible moving forward.
They did that and more this past season, helping Ohio State win the National Championship Game. Sawyer is always going to be an OSU legend after his game-saving play in the CFP semifinal win over Texas. Remember him taking down Quinn Ewers, scooping the ball up and taking it back for six? Of course you do:

Howard was HYPED after that play and he let Sawyer know all about it. Hey, the QB was pretty darn special last season too, throwing for more than 4,000 yards and 35 touchdowns, while also looking downright superb throughout the College Football Playoff.
It's a bummer that everyone only got to enjoy Howard for one season with the Buckeyes, but now plenty of people will be rooting for him to crush it with the Steelers. The same of course can be said for Sawyer. It's quite special that both Howard and Sawyer will be starting this new journey together as well.
