The Ohio State football team didn't have the great start against Texas they were hoping for. In fact, it was a rock fight in the first half. It was just 14-7 after Ohio State had a 75-yard touchdown on a screen pass from TreVeyon Henderson. The third quarter was marred by penalties.
In the fourth quarter, the Buckeyes were able to pull away. Quinshon Judkins had a touchdown to give the Ohio State Buckeyes a 21-14 lead. Texas embarked on a drive that saw them get to the one-yard line. Then on third-and-long, Jack Sawyer took over the game.
Sawyer made one of the greatest plays in Ohio State football history. He sacked Quinn Ewers, forced a fumble, and took it back for a touchdown. It gave the Buckeyes a 28-14 lead, and that ended up being the final score. Ohio State took down Texas 28-14.

Sawyer had himself an incredible game. He got constant pressure and had a deflected pass at the line of scrimmage as well. The Buckeyes needed every bit of effort from everyone in this game in order to come out with a victory. Now, they get a chance to play for it all.
Ryan Day has gone from a coach who fans wanted fired to possibly winning it all. This team is not the same team that lost to Michigan. This is a different team that can fight through adversity. The Buckeyes have rallied around him to go on a run.
Notre Dame is a good defense and things won't be easy for Ohio State. Right now, they don't care. Sawyer gets to enjoy having one of the greatest plays in Buckeye history.
