It doesn't take much to add some extra spice to the Ohio State football vs. Michigan rivalry. Leave it to5-star Buckeyes safety commit Blaine Bradford to do just that. Bradford made a lot of fans happy recently when he said he's fully locked in with Ryan Day and he won't be taking other visits.

Now, Bradford has even more people talking thanks to an interview this week with Bucknuts 247, the OSU 247Sports affiliate. While speaking with Bryce Koon, Bradford didn't hesitate in saying he's already excited about playing Michigan once he gets to campus. He knows what the rivalry means and the pressure that comes with it:

5-star Ohio State commit Blaine Bradford can't wait to face Michigan

"Yeah, man, every night before I go to sleep I'm imagining in my head playing against the team up north," Bradford said with a smile on his face. "I'm imagining all the games, all the practices. I'm a competitor at heart. That what I want to do - I want to go up there and win my position."

Yup, this kid is all Buckeye and he's going to look to make a big-time splash the second he makes his way to campus. The Baton Rouge product committed to Ohio State in late March in what's a huge recruiting win for Day.

Bradford is ranked five stars, the No. 3 safety in the country, No. 2 prospect from Louisiana and the No. 24 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite. He picked up 30 offers this cycle, picking Ohio State over LSU, Alabama, Auburn and many others.

With Bradford being a 2026 prospect, we're all going to have to wait a little longer to see him make plays at The Shoe. However, once November of '26 gets here, he's going to have some extra pep in his step in trying to take down the Wolverines.

Michigan unfortunately has dominated the rivalry of late, winning four straight matchups. Ohio State is hoping to end the losing streak this fall. Then once Bradford starts suiting up for the Buckeyes, he'll be ready for Ohio State to go on a bit of a run on its own in delivering rough losses to Michigan.
