The Ohio State football team is hosting its annual Spring Game on Saturday afternoon. It will be the first time that fans of the Buckeyes will be able to see the new roster this season. With 51 new guys out there, fans are anxious to see how all of the pieces fit together.

Unfortunately for the Ohio State Buckeyes, they have several players who are injured this spring. A few of them aren't going to play in the spring game. Ohio State is already down three running backs, so that leaves limited options available for Saturday's Spring Game.

Freshman sensation Legend Bey has been the talk of spring so far on the offensive side of the ball. He has been out for the last couple of practices with an injury. Ryan Day has now given the media an update on what the injury is and how long he might be out.

Ryan Day believes Legend Bey will not play in the Ohio State Spring Game

Day said that Bey has a hamstring injury and he is unlikely to return in time to play in the Spring Game.

"He is getting back. I'm not sure that he will be ready by Saturday. It's been a hamstring injury that has been bothering him for a couple of weeks now. He's been rehabbing. He's not quite ready to go yet, but our guys are working hard to get him back on the field.

Based on that information, Bey is unlikely to suit up on Saturday. Hamstring injuries are ones that can linger for a while, so the most important thing for Bey is to get healthy. Of course, the Buckeyes are running out of healthy running backs to play on Saturday.

It looks like fans will have to wait until the Fall to see what Bey can do for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He will likely be seeing the field as a freshman, even if he won't be getting starting snaps. He's an exciting player who can certainly help the Buckeyes with their issues of gaining yards in chunks.
