Ohio State QB commit went above and beyond to show he's all-in with the Buckeyes

This is what being committed is all about.

It looks like there's nothing, and we mean nothing, that's going to change the plans for elite quarterback prospect Brady Edmunds. He's been a longtime Ohio State football commit and it's safe to say that he's all-in when it comes to playing for the reigning champs down the road.

Need further proof of that? First, Edwards has already spurned outside interest from Oregon, Penn State and other schools working to record a flip. Then this past week, Edmunds showcased his Ohio State pride in the best way possible.

According to reporter Andrew Gillis, Edmunds flew from California to Columbus on Friday, drove to see his future teammate Jamier Brown in action, then returned to Ohio State to watch the Buckeyes dismantle Grambling State. Goodness:

QB Brady Edmunds could not be more committed to his future with Ohio State football

Last December, Edmunds surprised a lot of people by giving an incredibly early verbal to Ryan Day and his coaching staff. It remains a huge get for the Buckeyes, as Edmunds is ranked the No. 8 quarterback in the country, No. 9 player from California and No. 90 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.

He chose Ohio State over 23 other offers and he's been locked in with Day ever since. Brown is also another exciting future playmaker for Ohio State, which is why fans are pretty excited that he and Edmunds are developing a close bond with one another.

Brown is ranked five stars by the 247Sports Composite, plus the No. 1 wide receiver in the country. The speedster has also been receiving outside interest, but Day is hoping that he can hold on to him in the same way that he did with Edmunds.

Both commits must be pretty fired up for the 2-0 start by Ohio State, which of course includes the win over then No. 1 Texas to start the new season. The Buckeyes continue to hold the top odds from the Vegas oddsmakers to win it all once again this winter. If they do make a trip to the National Championship Game, it should only help strengthen the commitments for Edmunds, Brown and anyone else who decides to grab a seat at the table for the '27 group.
