He may be a member of the 2027 class, but Ohio State football fans still can't wait to see talented wide receiver Jamier Brown make his way to Columbus. Brown is one of the top players out there. Just ask On3 about that.

This week, the outlet came out with its new rankings for '27 and Brown went from the No. 32 overall prospect in the country to No. 10. He was one of the biggest risers out there, which is of course awesome to see and fully deserved on his end:

The only disappointing thing here, however, is that Brown is ranked a 4-star prospect by On3, which doesn't sit too well with the Ohio State faithful. According to 247Sports Composite, Brown is a 5-star standout and the No. 6 prospect in the nation.

The 5-11, 170-pounder has picked up 25 offers already and that number is expected to pass 30 sooner rather than later. He pledged to the Buckeyes back on Nov. 23, shutting down his recruitment pretty darn early. A reminder that he can't sign until December 2026.

Brown gave the Buckeyes his verbal over additional rides from Auburn, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee and many others. Brian Hartline, as is normally the case, ran point on the receiver's recruitment and he continues to do so.

While Brown has been committed since the fall, other teams continue to show strong interest in him. The list includes Notre Dame, where he visited not long ago. Brown recently revealed that he's going to continue taking additional trips to other schools, but that he remains fully locked in with Ohio State. For now, he's Columbus-bound and Hartline is hoping to keep things that way for the long haul. Brown has a bright future ahead of him and he's already among the top playmakers out there for his class.
