The Ohio State football team finally was able to get the monkey off its back. Beating TTUN 27-9 finally allowed Ryan Day to complete the final part of his resume. Now, he can be considered one of the all-time greats when it comes to coaching the Buckeyes, especially if he wins back-to-back national championships.

It was the perfect way for the Ohio State Buckeyes to take down Michigan. Not only was it a blowout, but it was a physically dominating win. It was also a win in bad weather, as the wind and the snow were whipping around during the entire game.

The Buckeyes loved how they were able to win this game. Left guard Luke Montgomery talked to the media on Monday for the first time since the victory. Montgomery gave some insight as to how happy the team was with the way they were able to dispatch the Wolverines.

Ohio State football player talks about dominating TTUN

While speaking to the media, Montgomery talked about how great it was to physically dominate Michigan, calling it "a dream that came to reality." Montgomery was happy with the way Ohio State won the game, especially in the snow. That removed any narrative that this team can't play in bad weather.

Moving forward, the Buckeyes won't have to deal with bad weather in the rest of their games. If the Buckeyes beat Indiana in the Big Ten Championship, they would be the number-one seed in the College Football Playoff. That means they would get to pick their venue in their first Playoff game.

If the Buckeyes win that game, they will either be able to play indoors or in great weather outside for the rest of the season. They might be able to do that with a loss, too. They are locks for the CFP, and they look like the scariest team in the country right now.

Ohio State has turned the page on its dominating victory over Michigan. Now, they have to complete their goal of winning the Big Ten for the first time since 2020.
