The Ohio State football team finally was able to end the losing streak to Michigan. Beating TTUN 27-9 in Ann Arbor was the perfect way for them to exercise their demons. Winning the game in the snow, while controlling every aspect of the game, was all too perfect.
After the game, TTUN players were concerned about Ohio State planting the flag at midfield, so they stood on their logo. No matter. The Ohio State Buckeyes went to celebrate with fans in the stands instead. It was an embarrassing loss for TTUN and a great win for the Buckeyes.
After the Buckeyes won the game, they headed for the tunnel to celebrate in the locker room. Apparently, TTUN wasn't done talking smack, as they had all day. They were reportedly waiting in the tunnel for Ohio State players to exit before cops had to break it up.
TTUN players tried to fight Ohio State players in tunnel after The Game
According to Bill Landis of the Bill and Doug Show, TTUN was trying to wait for Ohio State players to leave the locker room so more words could be exchanged. Once that happened, cops came over to clear them out, making sure that nothing bad happened in that tunnel.
This isn't the first time that TTUN has tried to do something in their tunnel after a game. There was a fight between Michigan players and Michigan State players a few years back that resulted in some charges being filed.
The Buckeyes were making sure that they weren't going to be caught in that trap. Ryan Day made sure that his players won with humility, which is what he said after the game. This was a great win for the program, and nothing TTUN tried to do after the game was going to ruin that.
Now, the Buckeyes will focus on the Hoosiers next week for the Big Ten Championship. Winning that game will give them their second goal of the season.
