The Ohio State football team was finally able to end the losing streak. They were able to finally shut up TTUN fans from across the country by getting a resounding 27-9 win. It was a game that these Buckeyes had been looking forward to since losing a year ago.
Exercising all of the demons happened in Ann Arbor on Saturday afternoon. It was the best possible way for the Ohio State Buckeyes to win this game, as well. They completely dominated Michigan in the second half. A lot of that is what they did defensively, especially with what they did to Bryce Underwood.
The true freshman quarterback was pretty terrible. Underwood was just 8/18 for 63 yards and an interception. Quite frankly, the inability to throw the ball against this Buckeye defense is a big reason why Ohio State walked away with a win. Buckeye defenders knew that going into the game.

Following the game, Caden Curry talked about putting Underwood into a blender for the entire game.
“We knew we had to keep him contained. We just had to make him play quarterback. I feel like we did a good job of that. I feel like we had him rattled at times.”
Rattled, indeed. The Buckeyes were able to keep Underwood from being able to throw the ball in any capacity. Underwood looked completely flustered in this game. He was not able to get anything done, and that's a testament to just how good the Buckeyes are on the defensive side of the ball.
Curry has been one of the best defenders that Ohio State has on the roster. His ability to influence the pocket from his defensive end position has been really invaluable for a team that doesn't blitz a ton. Matt Patricia has been a godsend as defensive coordinator, too.
This is a defining win for Ryan Day. Now, they will take on Indiana for the right to win a Big Ten Championship.
