The Ohio State football program dominated the 2026 NFL Draft. That was especially true in the first couple of rounds. The Buckeyes had four players taken in the first 11 picks. Carnell Tate started things off, while Davison Igbinosun was the final one taken in the second round.
Essentially, the entire draft weekend was an infomercial on why recruits should pick to play for the Ohio State Buckeyes instead of anywhere else. Mike Greenberg tried to help them out with that, but made an incredible gaffe for someone of his stature.
Greenberg mistakenly called Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston the son of former Buckeye great David Boston. In fact, they are not related at all. Greenberg instead made a horrible mistake live on the air. He later had to apologize for misidentifying Boston.

Later on in the broadcast, Greenberg apologized for his mistake. He apologized, calling it an error in his research.
"The Cleveland Browns traded out of the spot (pick No. 74) just a moment ago,” Greenberg said. “I was waiting for them to come around again so that I could make an apology to Denzel Boston, who, earlier tonight, I misidentified as being the son of former NFL wide receiver David Boston. It was a mistake in my research. It was a terrible one, and I apologize to them both. They are not related to each other. And so I apologize to both David and Denzel Boston, and congratulations to Denzel for being drafted in the second round tonight by the Cleveland Browns. It is my mistake, and I apologize for it.”
It was pretty clear that the mistake made its way through the internet and got back to him. New Browns receiver Denzel Boston will now try to help a franchise beleaguered in mediocrity turn things around.
