The first round of the NFL Draft is at the end of the month. The Ohio State football program is going to be well-represented in Pittsburgh, as it might have as many as four players taken in the top 10. There's a chance there are as many as five Buckeyes taken in the first round.
Last season, the Ohio State Buckeyes had one of the most talented rosters in the country, especially on defense. Mel Kiper's latest mock draft is littered with Buckeyes in the top 10. In fact, he has four Ohio State football players being taken in the first seven picks.
In one of those picks, he has the Dallas Cowboys making a trade up to land the sixth overall pick. In that pick, he has Dallas taking linebacker Sonny Styles, which would give them one of the best players in the draft and help solidify their defense.

Adding Styles to a roster that no longer has Micah Parsons is necessary. Styles is a physical freak who can do everything on the field. After starting his career at safety, he moved to linebacker over the last couple of seasons and proved to be a capable pass rusher. He didn't lose his covering skills, either.
Kiper also has his linebacker co-patriot, Arvell Reese, headed to the Cardinals with the third overall pick. He is the highest Buckeye taken in his mock draft. Kiper also has the Giants taking Caleb Downs, which is another team that has been linked to Styles since the NFL Combine.
Carnell Tate, the lone offensive player expected to be drafted in the first round for Ohio State, goes seventh to the Commanders. Having four guys taken in the top seven of the draft would be an incredible feat, and the Buckeyes would use that as the ultimate recruiting tool for years to come.
It would be very surprising if those four Buckeyes aren't taken in the first ten selections in some order. Cowboys fans would be ecstatic to see them make a move up for Styles. He is a great player who can really turn the fortunes of a defense that needs quite an overhaul.
Ohio State will have the Spring Game just a week before the first round of the draft. Those two are excellent recruiting tools in such a short amount of time.
