Why does FOX continue to think that this is a good decision? Come Aug. 30, everyone can't wait for the titanic showdown between Ohio State football and Texas to arrive. However, a 12 p.m. start is what everyone has been fearing - and it was just confirmed on Monday.
Again, WHY? Let's be real here, this is a complete and total joke. For some reason, FOX thinks its Big Noon kickoff is something that people across the country are over the moon about. The reality is that this game has no business being a 12 p.m. kickoff. This is without question the best contest of the opening weekend and it isn't getting primetime treatment?

Ohio State vs. Texas having a Big Noon kickoff time on FOX is a total disgrace
A quick look on social media shows that countless people out there are downright furious with this decision. You know what, we don't blame anyone at all. This game is still more than three months away, but the buzz surrounding it is already off the charts.
We've got a College Football Playoff rematch on the way. The last time these two powerhouses faced off, Jack Sawyer closed things out with a bang, as his epic scoop and score to seal the win for the Buckeyes over the Longhorns is something that's never going to be forgotten.
Looking ahead to 2025, Quinn Ewers is no longer running the offense for the Longhorns, as it's about to be the Arch Manning show for Steve Sarkisian and the SEC side. The loaded Ohio State defense, of course led by standout safety Caleb Downs, will look to give Manning all kinds of issues.
Millions of people across the planet are going to be following this game closely, as it should be a back-and-forth thriller. With all of that said, there's already a bit of a dark cloud over this one due to the start time. It was assumed that a noon kickoff would be on the way, but some fans were holding out hope the people in charge of this decision would come to their senses and push things back a bit. No dice, as the worst imaginable kickoff time indeed will be on the way in late August.
