As good as the Ohio State football program has been in recent years on the field, some former players have had some troubling issues. Darron Lee was arrested for allegedly murdering his girlfriend. That is the most serious of the recent issues former Buckeyes are facing.

For the most part, former Buckeyes aren't just good football players, but good people. Of course, not everyone fits into that bucket. In fact, former defensive back Marcus Williamson has had some issues. He was a cornerback under Urban Meyer, and he wasn't a great player.

Since leaving the Ohio State Buckeyes, Williamson has clearly had some issues adjusting to life after football. He was arrested in connection with robbing banks in the Columbus area. Now, he has actually pled guilty to nine different bank robberies around the city.

According to the Columbus Dispatch, Williamson has admitted to stealing at least $22,000 from nine different banks around the Columbus area. He has pleaded guilty to nine felony charges regarding those robberies. Now, he is due to be sentenced on June 25th.

In the robberies, Williamson either implicated or outright claimed that he had a gun. With that being the case, Williamson is staring down some serious prison time from the judge based on the fact that he admitted to that.

Williamson is looking at anywhere from probation to 40 years in jail for his crimes. He is in a lot of trouble, and it looks like he is about to pay dearly for his mistakes. It seems highly unlikely that he would just receive probation for pleading guilty to nine felony charges.

Back when he was playing with the Buckeyes, Williamson was not a starter until his final year. Even then, he wasn't very good. He was not drafted into the NFL, and it appears that he had problems adjusting to that fact. Hopefully, he's able to get some help for his problems.
