The Ohio State football team finally got the monkey off its back in November by finally beating TTUN. The Buckeyes dominated the Wolverines 27-9 in a game that wasn't close after the first quarter. It was the last thing missing on Ryan Day's resume as a coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes: beating TTUN with his own guys.

Shortly after the game, Michigan coach Sherrone Moore was firedry. He was let go after it was discovered that he was involved in an inappropriate relationship with a staffer. He then allegedly threatened her, went to her house, and threatened to harm himself.

All of that legal stuff has been going on for the last few months while TTUN moves on. Since losing to the Buckeyes, they decided to hire Kyle Whittingham as the next head coach. Now, Moore can move on with his life after agreeing to a plea deal with prosecutors.

According to Dan Wetzel of ESPN, Moore has agreed to a plea deal. As part of the plea deal, three charges are dismissed, including a felony. Moore has pleaded no contest to a on two new misdemeanor charges – malicious use of a telecommunication device in a domestic relationship and trespassing.

Moore will be sentenced on April 14. While one of the charges carries up to a year in prison, lawyers don't expect him to serve any prison time. While he likely won't be going to prison, his head coaching career is almost certainly over for the rest of his life. Another program won't dare touch him.

It's satisfying for Buckeye fans that his last-ever game was a loss to Ohio State, but this is still a sad situation. TTUN lost several players to the Transfer Portal, but now they are trying to move on. Ohio State still feels they hold the advantage in the rivalry now, though.
