Caleb Downs and Quinshon Judkins blast Michigan in a way Ohio State fans will love

The rivalry between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Michigan Wolverines clearly doesn't end when players leave either program.

The hatred felt and shared between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines has turned the rivalry into one of the most well-known feuds in history.

That rivalry doesn't fade once players move on from their college days, whether they head to the league or move on from their sport.

Ohio State stars Quinshon Judkins and Caleb Downs proved that much was true when discussing how offensive lines play, and specifically how the Wolverines play.

Judkins and Downs accuse Wolverines of holding every play

Downs was talking about the fact that teams across the nation teach their offensive linemen to grab under the pads and hold, even going as far as to tell their tight ends to do so as well.

"The O-Line literally does hold every play, so do tight ends," Downs said. "They literally teach people to hold."

Judkins was hesitant to hop on that train. That was, until Downs brought up that the Wolverines were the biggest perpetrator of holding at the line of scrimmage.

When asked for an example of teams that do this, Downs outright shouted, "Michigan!"

"That's an exception. I'd probably say that. out of all schools, I'd probably say them," Judkins joined in, while laughing to himself a bit.

"Got the back of your pads and just running," Downs continued on Michigan's in-game play. "I'm like, 'Bro, this is bad!'"

Of course, the Buckeyes finally secured a win over the Wolverines after a four-year losing streak, and Downs had a great game during the matchup. When Judkins was still at Ohio State, he obviously never had to go up against the O-Line as a running back.

No matter what, even when Ohio State Players (current or former) disagree, as soon as they are talking about Michigan, they agree that what the Wolverines are doing is wrong.

Judkins just played his rookie season for the Cleveland Browns, and now, Downs is headed to the 2026 NFL Draft. Despite the fact that neither plays for the Buckeyes anymore, their distaste for Michigan is as strong as ever.
