#4: Joey Bosa

The fourth best former Ohio State Buckeyes player currently in the NFL is Joey Bosa. While he did not quite have the rookie season that his brother did, Joey’s longevity puts him in front of Nick for the time being.

With this being said, Bosa has been no slouch in the NFL himself. He was the third pick of the 2016 draft to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Over the 2019-2020 offseason, he signed a deal with the Chargers that made him the highest-paid defensive lineman in NFL history and he has earned every penny up to this point.

Bosa’s peak season so far came in the 2017 season in which he defended one pass, forced four fumbles, and recovered one. Along with this, he was an animal in the backfield. He totaled 70 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, and 21 QB hits.

He is a three-time Pro Bowler and was named the defensive rookie of the year in 2016.

While Bosa has yet to see any postseason success with the Chargers, it is through no fault of his own. He has established himself as one of the best pass rushers in the league and is another former Buckeye that puts up amazing stats despite being double and triple-teamed on almost every play.

It has been rumored that the Bosa brothers may team up in the NFL one day, and it would make for a long day for the opposing offensive line if that dream team ever were to happen.
