Ohio State has beaten down TTUN so much over the last two decades that they finally just decided to wave the white flag and not play this year. Since they aren’t playing today, we rank the five best beatdowns in The Game in the last 20 years.

Ohio State has only lost to TTUN twice since 2001. This rivalry hasn’t really been that much of a rivalry over that timespan. Ohio State has completely dominated the results of this game. Most of the matchups haven’t been close either in terms of the results.

This year’s matchup was poised to be one of the biggest blowouts in the history of The Game. After Ryan Day said he wanted to hang 100 on them, it looked like the Buckeyes were on a rampage to destroy them. Now the Buckeyes don’t get that chance.

As we discovered yesterday, TTUN only had 9 athletes test positive across their entire athletic department and still opted to cancel on Ohio State. They were clearly tired of getting embarrassed on national television and were afraid of what was about to come their way.

Because TTUN chickened out of today’s matchup, we have to look at the past matchups between these two storied programs. We will rank the top five best beatdowns that the Buckeyes have put on TTUN in the last 20 years. The Buckeyes have had a lot of them.

We start with the first game on our list which occurred way back in 2005 where the Buckeyes were able to win a classic game in the Big House after having a comeback for the ages.
