TTUN only had 9 athletes, not just football players total athletes, test positive this week for COVID. They clearly were trying to screw over Ohio State and are cowards for doing so.

This has me the most fired up I have been all season long. Kirk Herbstreit warned America about what TTUN was doing, and everyone yelled at him for being insensitive. Now the facts come out that he was right about everything the whole time. TTUN was too cowardly to play Ohio State this weekend.

The University of *ichigan released their COVID numbers for the entire athletic department for this week’s round of testing. Between December 5th and December 11th, just 9 total athletes tested positive for the virus. That is total athletes, not football players.

It’s unclear how many of those athletes or staff members are part of the football program. But it’s very clear that they had plenty of players available to play this weekend against Ohio State. The Buckeyes were almost screwed out of a conference title because of TTUN’s cowardice.

The Buckeyes were below the six-game threshold that the conference had set up, so they weren’t going to be able to play in the Big Ten Championship Game unless they played TTUN. TTUN knew they couldn’t compete with the Buckeyes, so they tried to screw them the only way they could; by not playing them.

This adds another level of hate to the rivalry. It’s one thing to not play because you have legitimate concerns about your athletes having a breakout of the virus around them. It’s another thing to completely duck your rival to avoid being embarrassed on national television again.

Next. E. Liddell out indefinitely with non-COVID illness. dark

I seriously cannot wait for Ryan Day to hang 150 points on these cowards next season. He is absolutely going to go for blood. He is going to keep his starters in the whole game and score as many points as he possibly can.
