#5: Dwayne Haskins

The first player on the list is Dwayne Haskins. Haskins has recently secured the job as the starting quarterback of the Washington Football Team in what was looking might have been a positional battle between Haskins and Alex Smith.

With Haskins having a fair shot at the starting position and it seemingly being his to lose this season this could be the breakout season that Buckeye fans know he is capable of.

Along with this, fellow former Buckeye Terry McLaurin is the primary receiver for the Football Team after his exceptional rookie season.

On draft night, Haskins made a push for the team to draft McLaurin in the third round and was ecstatic when he was selected.

Haskins and McLaurin had a great connection in college. In their final year with the Buckeyes, Haskins had a record-setting season in what could have been the best single-season campaign that we have seen by a Buckeye quarterback.

Currently, ESPN’s Matthew Berry has Haskins ranked at 30th in quarterback rankings after his rather underwhelming rookie season.

However, with a more stable system behind him and a coach in Ron Rivera that seems to have more faith in Haskins, it is likely that we could see him have a great season and open some eyes to the former Buckeye stud.

Haskins will likely go undrafted in your fantasy league, however, he might be worth taking with your final pick before it is too late.
