Ohio State Football: Surprise teams Buckeyes could face in the CFP
Florida
Dan Mullen’s first two seasons in Gainesville were a mixed bag. He’s 21-5 with two bowl wins, but the gap with Georgia is still glaring.

Kyle Trask might be the quarterback Mullen needs to get over the roadblock in the East.
After taking over for Felipe Franks, Trask passed for 2941 yards and 25 touchdowns last season, and also played well in the team’s losses to LSU and Georgia. He lost some key playmakers, but enough talent returns for Mullen to make him highly productive.
Even with the losses, Florida’s defense will be top 20 again.
The Gators’ schedule is challenging, but not treacherous. They play LSU at home and avoid Alabama, Auburn and Texas A&M.
The non-conference slate is a cakewalk. Eastern Washington, South Alabama, New Mexico State and Florida State.
I think Florida enters the game against Georgia undefeated. If they win, the Gators will be in Atlanta to play for the SEC title. That gives them a real shot at making their first playoff appearance.
