No. 3:  October 28, 2017- Penn State 38, Ohio State 39

For as great as this game ended for the Buckeyes it was equally as bad to start. Down 14-3 after the first quarter and 28-17 at half time, it was tough sledding for the Scarlet and Gray early on. As the fourth quarter started the score was 35-20 in favor of Penn Sate. Then the magic happened.

Three Ohio State fourth quarter touchdowns led by Mr. Clutch JT Barrett, with the final one being the game winning 16 yard strike to tight end Marcus Baugh.

Wide receiver Johnnie Dixon had his best game as a Buckeye with two fourth quarter touchdowns and fellow receiver KJ Hill had 12 catches for 102 yards on the night.

Ohio State was trailing by 11 points with 4:25 remaining when Barrett found Dixon for his second score of the night. After getting the ball right back, that’s when Barret hit Baugh down the middle for the game winning score with 1:48 left.

JT was absolutely phenomenal in this game going 33 of 29 passing for 328 yards and four touchdowns. He also added 95 yards on the ground.

Penn State coach James Franklin was impressed by Barrett to say the least, from Eleven Warriors:

"“What I saw tonight is you got a veteran quarterback who’s being protected extremely well and they got really good skill players,” Franklin said. “He’s a damn good quarterback, and we weren’t able to make him uncomfortable in the pocket tonight at all.”"

Next a look at a win few outside of Buckeye Nation thought possible.
