Q: Do you agree with the [Big Ten] team’s rankings in the new AP [Poll]?

A: For those who have not gotten a chance to view the latest rankings or just need a friendly refresher, here is a highlight of the ranked Big Ten teams.

  • 3. Ohio State
  • 8. Penn State
  • 12. Michigan
  • 15. Wisconsin

I do agree with the placement of the BIg Ten teams in the AP Poll. Some would argue, as I have and still could, Ohio State should be ranked No. 2 because of their schedule. However, I still have concerns with the defense and the big plays being given up weekly as well as the apparent lack of confidence in third or fourth down short yardage situations.

Penn State, Michigan, and Wisconsin are fairly ranked as of now with both teams having the chance to enhance their resume this weekend. A Michigan win would jump the Wolverines into the Top-10 regardless of how the teams in front of them perform. A win for the Badgers would slide them just outside of the Top-10, in my opinion.
