Q: Who [do] you [have winning,] Texas or Oklahoma?

More from Ohio State Football

A: Oklahoma is rolling to open the season and the Sooners haven’t skipped a beat with Heisman contender, Kyler Murray at the helm. The first year starting quarterback has played extremely well and the Sooner offense has looked unstoppable and has been explosive. I don’t believe Texas will be able to hang with Oklahoma for four quarters.

However, if the two were to have a rematch in the Big XII Championship Game, I would be obligated to think differently, if the Longhorns continue their ascent back to the top tier of college football.

Q: [Is there] [a]ny chance UCF, the “National Champions” make the playoff?

A: I don’t foresee a Group of Five team crashing the College Football Playoff this year. Major college football is too deep to allow a team like UCF to participate in the playoff under this four team format.

Nevertheless, I am not saying there isn’t an opportunity for a playoff crasher to arise. I believe one already has in South Bend, Indiana.
