Meyer is an Urban Legend. His legacy will go far and above that of any other Ohio State football coach and his name will be etched in the record books. Off the field, Urban will be known as an educator who committed a lifetime to the betterment of his family, friends, and community.
To the younger generation, he will be a role model for many by the way he lives each day. Whether through his powerful motivation he uses to bring out the best in others or to his New York Bestseller “Above the Line” that is motivation to anyone no matter what walk of life you come from.
To the older generation, he will be the best coach in Ohio State’s storied history, and a new hope in the Big Ten Conference as his teams are always competing for titles.
On the field he will be remembered as the catalyst of the Ohio State football team that won the inaugural College Football Playoff with a third-string quarterback.

At the end of the day, Urban Meyer has gone about his business in a professional manner no matter what has happened. The way Urban has reacted to the good and bad shows his character and how he leads by example. He has encouraged so many to be their best and he will only continue to do so whatever the future holds.
