Q: What is the biggest thing you have learned as new writer/journalist?

More from Ohio State Football

A: My biggest takeaway as a new journalist is tough to pinpoint. I have learned from great mentors and editors which have expedited my ongoing learning process.

What I love the most is being able to communicate with the sports world directly from my heart with authenticity and passion.

I have learned not to rush into reporting new stories. Just because news is breaking does not make it law. Using the “wait and see” approach has been proven to be a route worth taking in those particular situations.

I believe that is my most important takeaway as I gauge situations and watch others’ reactions.

Q: Which OSU player could play for [t]he Blue Jackets in your opinion?

A: My answer may seem as a cop-out, but I cannot resist passing up on this opportunity. Tuf Borland in a Jackets jersey would be monumental.

To begin, his name is Tuf. What better sport than football is there to play with a name like that than hockey?

Next. Important factors for OSU vs. TCU. dark

Borland is also an athletic linebacker with vocal leadership which would make him a great defensemen if he could increase his balance, agility, and speed on skates
