After starting the season 2-3, Northwestern won seven-straight games to finish the season beating Michigan State and Iowa along the way.
Kentucky is in their second-straight bowl game, but finished the season with back-to-back blowout losses to Georgia and Louisville.
Odds favor this being a high-scoring game, but I think it will be the opposite. It will be sloppy and both defenses will play well. Northwestern wins 27-23.
CL I liked Northwestern at the beginning of the season and now these Wildcats are on a roll. Kentucky isn’t all that great yet.
I’ll take Northwestern 30-21.
