NEW ORLEANS, LA – JANUARY 02: John Franklin III

10. Auburn will win the Iron Bowl

More from Scarlet and Game

Will there be an upset on one of the biggest college football games of the year?

“Auburn’s gonna win the Football game, Auburn’s gonna win the Football game!” A sentence Auburn Tiger fans will never forget.

And they better not because they don’t get to hear that too often anymore with how dominant the dynasty of ‘Bama football has been. Alabama is truly another specimen of a football team.

However, I think this year the Tigers can take down the Crimson Tide. This Auburn team has the running game that can wear down an Alabama defense like very few teams can.

Now it’s going to take more than a complete football game to beat the Tide and that sounds crazy to say, but it’s what they specialize in. Alabama allows you to play the best game you possibly can and then they still win. Ask anyone in the SEC, it’s demoralizing.

So for Auburn to win, they are going to need some crazy play similar to the 2013 matchup, right? Well, that isn’t something you can predict, but I love the young Tigers nothing-to-lose attitude and I think their young crew could pull the upset off.
