Ohio State football fans have waited all year for this. After three straight losses to TTUN, the Ohio State Buckeyes have a chance to finally get their revenge. We all know the Buckeyes haven't won since 2019 and they know it too. It's all over the Woody too.

This year has been very different for both schools. From Ohio State's perspective, they have been dominant in most of their games. And yet, it doesn't seem like they've played their single best game yet. They haven't put one complete dominant performance yet.

Meanwhile, Michigan has struggled to do much of anything on the offensive side of the ball. They've played three different quarterbacks this season and are a mediocre team at best. Sitting at 6-5 coming into The Game, they are just playing for the pride of the rivalry.

The Ohio State football team needs to play its best game against Michigan

Despite TTUN looking like a bad team all season, we know how this rivalry goes. There are plenty of examples on both sides of a team coming in with a bad record and winning The Game. Even transfer quarterback Will Howard understands the history of the game and said so after the game.

Ohio State has to leave no doubt. Ryan Day has talked all season about how they have tried to leave no doubt in any of their games. If there was any game on the schedule in which that statement needs to be true, it's this one. The Buckeyes need to play their best game of the season.

Expect Michigan to try and run the ball down Ohio State's throat like they've done in each of the last three matchups. Defensively, Michigan is going to send pressure at Howard and try to attack this offensive line that has been reshuffled yet again. The offensive line played pretty well against Indiana.

The line of scrimmage will once again be the key to winning this game. Whichever team is able to do that will come out on top. For the first time in five years, Ohio State is in a position to do just that.
