Ohio State fans certainly have a lot of love for former head coach Urban Meyer. He brought a National Championship back to Ohio State, the first one in over 10 years, back in 2014. Buckeye fans have a lot of respect for what Meyer thinks and says, especially when it comes to Ohio State.

Meyer joined The Big Ten Network and spoke about Ohio State's young quarterback Julian Sayin, or as he said, no longer young quarterback Julian Sayin. The former Buckeyes leader watched some tape on Sayin and analyzed it to show just how far he has come and how great his development under head coach Ryan Day and offensive coordinator Brian Hartline has been.

"His development is right on point," Meyer said. "There's no two better people to develop a quarterback than Ryan Day and offensive coordinator Brian Hartline."

While some would say that Ohio State's offense has been as strong as it has been in the past, clearly, Meyer would like to disagree. Meyer spoke about how Sayin is making throws that are some of the toughest a quarterback can make, adn he is doing this so early on in his college football career.

Meyer believes that the development of Sayin is all thanks to Day and Hartline, and he is well on his way to being a top quarterback in college football. Meyer also believes that Sayin shouldn't go anywhere because with coaches like Day and Hartline, he believes the young quarterback can go far.

"His upside is so much with those guys coaching him," Meyer said.

In his first season as a starter, Sayin already has thrown for 1,872 passing yards, which is second in the Big Ten only behind USC quarterback Jayden Maiava. Sayin is also tied for second in passing touchdowns in the Big Ten with Dante Moore, with 19 passing touchdowns, and only has three interceptions.

Sayin has a very bright future, and it is clear Meyer believes that, and now it is time for him to lead Ohio State to another National Championship, and more to come in the future.
