As camp season rages on, the Ohio State football program continues to earn commitments from top recruits. Two prospects who have already committed to the Buckeyes were the stars of the show on Tuesday afternoon at Rivals camp in Indianapolis at the Colts' facility.

A couple of Buckeye recruits performed about as well as they could have hoped for. One of them was offensive tackle Sam Greer. The way Greer is performing, he could make a late push for a five-star rating. He simply didn't let many defensive linemen beat him during drills.

Another recruit who is committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes that impressed was defensive lineman Khary Wilder. Wilder is one of the newer commits to the Ohio State football team in the 2026 recruiting class. He performed even better than Greer.

Wilder was named as an MVP of the defensive line during camp, which is incredibly impressive. Rivals sent out a social media post recognizing his talent.

It's a good thing that Wilder is as good as he is, because he's the only defensive lineman that the Buckeyes have been able to land as a recruit. Larry Johnson has been a little light on the recruiting trail right now. There should be more recruits on the way for the Buckeyes up front.

Both Greer and Wilder are part of the depth that the Buckeyes need to build up front. The offensive line has been slowly building, but the Buckeyes are still searching for more help. That includes five-star tackle Felix Ojo, who didn't have his best day at camp.

Regardless, this is a good outlook for two recruits whom the Buckeyes have a lot of faith in. They believe both of these players to be able to contribute early. It wouldn't be surprising if either of these players turned out to be starters in a couple of years.
