One of the top recruits left on the Ohio State football program's recruiting board is Felix Ojo. Ojo is a five-star tackle who is listed as the second-best tackle in the country. He recently mentioned that Ohio State and Texas are the top two schools on his mind as he tries to figure out where he will be going to school.

Tuesday was a big camp day for a lot of the best recruits in the country. They all convened at the Indianapolis Colts' facility to show off what they can do. Ojo was there, and he had one of the worst days of any recruit who was invited to the camp.

There were clips on social media floating around of Ojo getting worked by a few other recruits, including KJ Ford and Khary Wilder, both of whom are Ohio State recruiting targets. Ojo knew that he had a bad day, and he issued a statement on social media defending himself.

Ojo let everyone know that one bad performance at a camp in the middle of the summer doesn't define who he is or what his tape shows.

It certainly was a bad day for Ojo; there's no denying that. He decided to take ownership of it and has let everyone know that he knows he wasn't at his best. That doesn't mean that he won't be at his best when he starts college and is in a program.

This might end up being a good thing for the Buckeyes in the future. Perhaps his NIL number can be negotiated a little bit lower now that he had a bad day at this camp. They still should want him in Columbus, and one bad day at a camp in Indy is not going to change their opinion on him at this point.

It's good that Ojo is self-aware enough to realize that he had a bad day. He knows that he needs to be better. Fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes shouldn't be too worried about it.
