Two Ohio State football players who raised their draft stock at the Combine

The Ohio State football team had plenty of guys at the Combine. Two of them really helped their draft stock with solid showings there.

The Ohio State football program had the most players invited to the NFL Combine. They had a whopping 15 players head to Indy, hoping to improve their draft stock. While the Buckeyes may not have a lot of first-round picks this year, they will have a to of guys drafted.

It has been an interesting week in Indy for these guys. A lot of them have performed well, but two specific Ohio State Buckeyes improved their draft stock more than anyone else. What's interesting is that these two players both play the same position.

TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins put up some really solid numbers during their drills. Both running backs were key cogs in the machine that won the 2024 national championship. The 40-yard dash times from each of these guys were particularly impressive.

Henderson ran a 4.43 40-yard dash. His speed was on full display during the Cotton Bowl when Henderson took a screen pass 75 yards for a touchdown. He showed off just how much of a home-run threat he can be once he gets the ball in his hands. Staying healthy is the biggest issue for him.

Judkins ran his 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds, which is very impressive when you consider his size. He's bigger than Henderson, weighing in at 220 pounds. Having someone that big run that fast is very impressive. He definitely improved his draft stock with that performance.

Both of these running backs will be drafted behind Ashton Jeanty, who is the only running back who likely has a shot to be drafted in the first round. Henderson was a lot of people's second-best running back in this draft, and this performance could have solidified that.

It wouldn't be shocking if both running backs were drafted right after Jeanty. These two Buckeyes could be the next running backs off the board, taken in the high second round. At worst, these guys will be taken in the middle of the second round. I'd be shocked if Henderson wasn't the second back off the board.
