There isn't any doubt that the Ohio State football program does the best job of any program in the country of developing receivers in the NFL. It seems like every receiver that comes through the program eventually turns into a first-round pick in a few years.

Two first-round receivers faced each other on Sunday afternoon, with Emeka Egbuka and his Buccaneers taking on Jaxson Smith-Njigba and his Seahawks. Both former Ohio State Buckeyes put on a show in this game, proving that Ohio State produces the best receivers.

Egbuka has already taken over the top receiver spot in Tampa from Mike Evans. He has shown that he can be the best receiver on the team, just five weeks into his NFL career. Smith-Njigba has proven that he is the best offensive player that the Seahawks have.

Smith-Njigba had eight catches for 132 yards and a touchdown against the Buccaneers. He continues to be the receiver that Sam Darnold looks for the most, especially when the game gets close. He was almost able to help Seattle pull this game out.

Instead, it was Egbuka's Buccaneers who came out with the 38-35 victory, thanks to Egbuka. Egbuka had seven catches for 163 yards and a touchdown. He has now scored five touchdowns, and has a score in four of the five games he's played so far in his rookie season.

The way Egbuka is playing, he might be the favorite for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. He has talent that is hard to stop, and Baker Mayfield has done a great job of giving him the ball in spots to succeed. Tampa has proven to be one of the best teams in the NFC.

These two former Ohio State football players put on the best show of any former Buckeyes. It was fun to watch to guys who were teammates trading blows back and forth.
