The Ohio State football program continues to hit the recruiting trail. They are trying to get their list of commitments for the class higher with every passing week. Right now, it's very early in the cycle. Because of that, they only have four commitments in the class of 2026.

Besides figuring out the Spring ball plan, recruiting is Ryan Day's next highest priority. He is starting to get some players who want to take visits to Columbus. Ohio State already has the best tackle in the country getting ready to take a visit to campus next month.

Another top tackle in the class has decided that Ohio State is in his final list of schools very early on in the process. That tackle is four-star recruit Samuel Roseborough. He has whittled down his list to ten schools, and the Buckeyes have made that final list.

The Ohio State football program is in Sam Roseborough's final list of ten schools

Roseborough is rated as the eighth-best offensive lineman in the class of 2026 and is from Clearwater, Florida. He is gaining interest from all of the top programs, including the Ohio State Buckeyes. They will have some stiff competition if they want to land him, though.

Other than Ohio State, he has Florida, LSU, Georgia, Texas, Michigan, Florida State, Penn State, Texas A&M, and Alabama. The Buckeyes have to make sure that they make a good impression on Roseborough if he does eventually make a visit on campus.

Ohio State is trying to get some better offensive line recruits into the program after some lackluster recruiting up front for the last few years. Roseborough would be a nice addition to the class, but it's going to take a lot of work to land guys of this caliber on a regular basis.

NIL Money has become very important in the world of recruiting, as well. The Buckeyes will have to be wise with how they spend their money. Collectives will need to raise even more money now that the Buckeyes have won a national championship if they want to stay on top.
