The Ohio State football program has a lot of legends at the wide receiver position. No program has been better at developing players at that position over the course of the last decade. They have had a first-round receiver in each of the last four drafts, which is incredible.

One of those first-round wide receivers is Marvin Harrison Jr. In the 2023 season, he was by far the best player that the Buckeyes had on the offensive side of the ball. Had Kyle McCord been better, he would have been able to get him the ball even more than he did.

Even so, Harrison Jr. was good enough to be the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft after back-to-back seasons of over 1,000 yards and 14 touchdowns. Ohio State has now offered his brother, who is also one of the best receviers in his age group.

The Ohio State football team offers receiver Jett Harrison a scholarship

The Ohio State football program has extended an offer to receiver Jett Harrison, the younger brother of Harrison Jr. He is one of the top receivers in the class of 2028, although no official recruiting rankings have been set for that class of players yet.

If he's anything like his brother or his father, then he's going to be a really good receiver once he does get to college. Right now, the Buckeyes are the only offer that Harrison has. Brian Hartline also doesn't throw offers out willy-nilly at the receiver spot. He must think that Harrison is really good.

It would be cool if Harrison Jr. were able to come back to Ohio State football games and root on his brother. There is a lot of time between now and when Harrison would need to make his collegiate decision, but the Ohio State Buckeyes have to hold one of the top spots already.

Harrison stands at 6'1 and 175 pounds right now, so he's not as tall as his brother. Even so, Hartline thinks he can be a weapon with a good quarterback throwing him the ball. NIL will certainly play a factor, as well.
