The Ohio State football program will have a chance to challenge Georgia's record of having the most players taken in a single NFL Draft. Ohio State has a ton of guys who will be eligible to be taken. In fact, 17 players will be hoping to hear their names called at the end of the month.
While only one or two players might be drafted in the first round, the Buckeyes still have plenty of players who will be playing at the next level. There's a chance that they not only tie Georgia's record but that they break it by having all 17 guys drafted.
The Beast was released by Dane Brugler of the Athletic on Wednesday morning. He goes through every single draft-eligible player and decides what draft grade they have. That includes all of the Ohio State Buckeyes who are going to be in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Beast shows how many Ohio State football players could be drafted
According to Brugler, the Buckeyes are likely to have 15 guys drafted. He has all of their draft-eligible players getting drafted except for two. He only has Josh Fryar and Gee Scott as going undrafted. It will be hard for either player to convince a team to take them with a pick.
The Buckeyes are still likely to tie Georgia's record of having the most players getting taken in a single draft. He has Josh Simmons as rated the highest, as he is the only definitive first-round pick that he has graded. Emeka Egbuka is on the border of being a first-round pick.
No matter how many guys the Buckeyes end up having drafted, this will certainly be a recruiting tool that they use for the next few years. It's something that will be all over the Woody once the draft is over.
