The Ohio State football team pulverized Grambling State on Saturday afternoon. It was an overwhelming game that saw the Buckeyes shut him out 70-0. This game was never going to be close, and the Tigers knew it as soon as they walked into the Shoe.

It was a game that saw Julian Sayin set a record in the first half as the Ohio State Buckeyes were able to do whatever they wanted on the field. Grambling State knew this was going to happen, but they happily accepted the payday that the Buckeyes gave them.

Part of the reason that Ohio State brought Grambling State up to the Shoe is because of their band. Grambling State has one of the best bands in the country. They briefly performed at halftime, but they really got to shine once the game was finished.

Once the thumping was over, both The Best Damn Band in the Land and Grambling State's band took the field to perform together. They gave a show to any of the fans who stuck around once the game was finished.

It's very cool to see both legendary bands take the field at the same time and perform together. It was a special treat for the fans who decided to stick around after such a large blowout. Grambling State takes great pride in its band, as does Ohio State. That's something they have in common.

Now that this game is over, the Buckeyes will only play FBS opponents from here on out. They have one more non-conference showdown against Ohio under the lights of the Shoe next weekend before Big Ten play starts. That's when the real tough part of the schedule starts for them.

Grambling State players, band members, and coaches got to travel to the Shoe, which is an experience none of them will ever forget. While they would have liked to have put up a better fight, it was still something they will be able to tell their children and grandchildren about years from now.
