This Saturday, the Ohio State football team will play its annual Spring Game. It's the first time that many of the fans will get to see this team since they lost to Miami in the Cotton Bowl. Defensively, this team will look a lot different without four first-round picks in the starting lineup.

Offensively, the Buckeyes will be missing Carnell Tate and Max Klare, two key pass-catching weapons. Arthur Smith will get to show off some of his offense for the first time since being named the offensive coordinator. That is, if the game is going to be played at all.

Assuming that it does, the Ohio State Buckeyes have decided who they are going to bring in to ring the Victory Bell. That is a new tradition that Ross Bjork started last football season. Ohio State will be bringing back a Super Bowl champion to do the honors.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba will ring the Victory Bell for the Ohio State Spring Game

Former receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be back to ring the Victory Bell prior to the start of the Spring Game. Smith-Njigba is fresh off a Super Bowl victory with the Seattle Seahawks. He has established himself as the best receiver in the NFL, despite his complicated history with the Buckeyes.

Smith-Njigba is just one of the many first-round receivers who have come from Ohio State in the last four years. At the end of the month, Tate will become a first-round pick, meaning the Buckeyes will have produced a first-round receiver in five straight drafts.

It seems that Ohio State is willing to forget that JSN quit on the program as they tried to make a run for a national championship. Now that he's the best receiver in the NFL, it is more advantageous for them to use him as a recruiting tool instead of ostracizing him.

The Spring Game will take place at noon ET on Saturday.
