Tensions are high already and this is something that you expected with Ohio State and Michigan going to war on Saturday in Ann Arbor. However, a Wolverines player just took things over the line and everyone is not happy about it. We're talking about Jaishawn Barham and a head-butt seen around the world.

With Ohio State down near the goal-line, Ohio State was stuffed on a run, but after the whistle went off, Barham was caught red-handed lowering his helmet and making contact with an official. Barham was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct, but there's no reason he shouldn't have been ejected after this move:

Almost? There's no almost here - he 100 percent lowered his head and made contact. This is something that should never be allowed on the field. All the officials were trying to do was make sure guys did not get extra physical after the play was over.
Barham took this the wrong way and then he was way too fired up. Again, this should have led to an immediate ejection and not just a flag. Ohio State was given a free first down, but had to settle for a field goal after a Julian Sayin touchdown was overturned.
A quick look on social media shows that countless Ohio State supporters, and even others, simply can't believe that Barham was hit with a slap on the wrist like this. If he gets another unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, he'll then be ejected, but you've got to assume Sherrone Moore has told him to be extra careful.
Ohio State is trying to wipe away the bad memories of a four-game losing streak to TTUN and the last thing needed is for the officials to have an impact on the game. Sorry, but Barham shouldn't still be in this contest. He had to make his way to the locker room after head-butting the ref. Period.
