Desmond Howard chickens out of question about importance of rivalry with Ohio State

The former The Team Up North player really couldn't answer the easiest question ever.

The Game is truly one of the biggest, if not the biggest, rivalries in college football, and it certainly is the most heated, and these two teams really just have so much hate for each other. Former Michigan player Desmond Howard, who is a part of the College GameDay crew, will never go with the Buckeyes in his game picks because of the bitter rivalry.

Howard, who is home in Ann Arbor today for The Game, is feeling pretty good about his team, but apparently, he is still a little delusional when it comes to Ohio State. In a segment where the guys get random questions from a spin board, Howard was asked, "Would you rather win the CFP or win The Game?"

His answer certainly didn't make a lot of sense, and it makes everyone wonder where his priorities are and where the priorities of Michigan fans are.

Desmond Howard can't answer question about a win in The Game vs a win in the National Championship

When asked whether he would rather win the CFP or win The Game, former Michigan legend Desmond Howard could not give a straight answer. Instead of giving the obvious answer, which is winning the CFP, Howard only really talked about how Michigan beat Ohio State last year, and it was an asterisk to their CFP win last season.

Yes, Ohio State lost to Michigan last season, but the Buckeyes got the bigger prize of a National Championship trophy, and Michigan was sitting at home for the entirety of the College Football Playoff because they didn't even get in.

Maybe it is the Michigan education, but Howard needs to know that a National Championship is definitely bigger than a win in The Game. Obviously, winning The Game is a big deal, but being the best team in all of college football is even better.

Get your answer straight Howard, because you just danced around the question and tried and failed to put Ohio State down.
