Heading into next season, the Ohio State football program has the best offensive player in the country. His body of work speaks for itself over the last two years. He was the best weapon for the Buckeyes in each of his first two seasons, including on a national championship team.
With spring ball over, the Buckeyes are focused on getting better individually. Of course, this also means that there isn't much going on. SEC fans have decided to start a fight online with fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes over Smith's production and his skills.
SEC fans have decided to come after Smith and have been trying to say that Malik Nabers is better than Smith after Nabers made dumb comments regarding Carnell Tate being drafted. Ohio State fans have put them in their place, despite SEC fans making delusional remarks.
Ohio State football fans put SEC fans in their place over Jeremiah Smith slander
SEC fans are using made-up points to negate Smith's greatness, and Ohio State fans aren't having it.
Here is “Jeremiah smith making a catch with a hand covering his eyes and two DBs with one hand” thanks for waiting https://t.co/nqUgV8elQv pic.twitter.com/Cdgw2Wic8w

Even a former Buckeye is getting tired of the ridiculous talk online. He decided to throw his two cents in on why Smith is clearly a generational prospect at the receiver position.
I don’t have enough crayons to explain to some of y’all how ridiculous these arguments over Jeremiah Smith are. Really showing the lack of ball knowledge on the internet nowadays #Buckeyes https://t.co/2Fnky8o8Rv

Clearly, SEC fans are tired of getting handled by Big Ten teams. The Big Ten has won the last three national championships, including the Buckeyes winning a title in 2024. It's abundantly clear that the Big Ten has turned into the dominant conference, and SEC fans can't handle it.
Smith commands double-teams almost every single game. He is the reason why Ohio State's offense is so good in every game they play. He has already warned future opponents how good he's going to be this season. With Julian Sayin having a full year of experience under his belt, Smith will be even scarier.
Ohio State has to make sure the offensive line is able to give Sayin enough time to throw it to Smith. If they do, SEC fans will look stupid once again.
