The Ohio State football team had its annual student appreciation day on Saturday. It's a day during spring practice in which students can go observe practice and get a chance to see the team before the Spring Game. It's something the Ohio State Buckeyes have done for years.
Once the practice ends, students get a chance to ask for autographs from players and coaches, as well as get some photos. Jeremiah Smith and Julian Sayin were the two players who were the most popular, which makes sense. They are the stars who will lead the 2026 team.
Ryan Day also took part in signing autographs for fans. He didn't sign very many, as he is a busy man. He needed to leave and talk to some recruits and their families. In fact, he only signed two things. One of them was a football. The other was a shirt that was perfect for him to sign.
Ryan Day signs an Ohio State shirt hating on Michigan
Day signed a shirt that has a pretty direct message to TTUN and their fans.

A lot of fans of the Buckeyes have a shirt similar to that. It's a staple in many fans' wardrobes, which is a great way for them to show their feelings about their rivals. It's hilarious that it's one of the only two things that Day decided to sign. He hates Michigan as much as the fans do.
That's why the team was so happy to finally take down TTUN last season in a game they dominated. Day was finally able to get the monkey off his back. They are the favorites to take down Michigan again this season after all of the offseason turmoil the program went through.
That student will certainly never get rid of that shirt now that Day signed it. He'll have a funny story to tell his friends for years to come, as well.
