Ryan Day is not concerned about one key aspect of Ohio State vs. Washington game

Day isn't letting the team or the coaching staff worry about this.

The Ohio State football program is enjoying a bye week after getting through the non-conference portion of its schedule. Taking down Texas, Grambling State, and Ohio is not an easy task. The Longhorns were the number-one team in the country when the Buckeyes faced them.

Now, the Ohio State Buckeyes get some rest before they start the Big Ten portion of their schedule. The first game up after the bye week will be a game at Washington. The Huskies are a much better team than they were a year ago, and it won't be an easy game by any means.

Day has already started looking at film and has started preparing for that game as the Buckeyes continue to improve their team. While there are certain things that concern him, he is not worried about the fact that they will travel all the way to the West Coast.

While speaking during his weekly radio show, Day mentioned that he is not worried about the travel, and he will act like it's any other game.

"To me, it's just another game. It's a little bit further away, but we make trips to Nebraska, we make trips to Wisconsin. It's a few hours further than that, but that's about it. That's the way we're gonna look at it."

Ohio State doesn't have to make many trips out West like this, but it did last year to take on Oregon. That game ended up not going well, as the Duck took down the Buckeyes 32-31. Of course, the Buckeyes got the ultimate revenge by blowing them out in the Rose Bowl.

The Buckeyes are going to treat this game against the Huskies like any other game. The Buckeyes are favored by quite a lot, so they shouldn't have too many issues winning the game. It would be surprising if Ohio State went to Washington and blew them out, though.
