The Ohio State football team was able to take down Washington in Seattle last weekend. They were able to take down the Huskies 24-6 in a game that wasn't the best game the Buckeyes have played this year, but they did enough to get an impressive win over a good team.

Of course, this game was in doubt at certain points. One point was when Brandon Inniss had a fumble at the end of the first quarter when the game was still scoreless. He coughed it up after having a pretty solid return. Lucky for him, it didn't end up costing them a touchdown.

Still, the Huskies ended up scoring a field goal on that turnover, giving them a 3-0 lead. Ohio State's defense bailed him out, preventing it from being worse. Inniss hasn't had the best start to the year. Despite that, Ryan Day still has confidence in him as their punt returner.

While speaking during his weekly press conference, Day talked about Inniss and his mistake in the first quarter against Washington.

Inniss will still be the team's punt returner, even if some fans aren't happy about it. Despite expecting a big year from Inniss, he hasn't really had many targets on the offensive end of the ball. He only has eight catches for 71 yards so far this season. He hasn't gotten in the end zone yet, either.

The Ohio State Buckeyes need someone who won't turn the ball over during a punt return. If Inniss wants to keep his job, he has to be better at securing the ball. As a captain, he knows that more is expected of him than of other players on the roster.

Day's confidence in him is not wavering as they prepare for Minnesota to come to town for a night game. Hopefully, he doesn't have another fumble in that game.
