The Ohio State football team was able to get the entire Spring Game in. Despite the fact that the weather forecast was not looking great before the game, they were able to get in a full day's work. Rain did hinder some of the offensive execution, but it was good to get the team out there for some work.

Day was pleased that they were able to get it in, but he was also concerned with some of the offensive execution. He was out there barking at the players throughout the entirety of the game. He was standing behind the quarterback for every single snap.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are now finished with football for the Spring. With the entire body of work finished, Day was asked about what he saw in this game. He gave his honest thoughts on what was a helter-skelter performance from the offense.

Day knew that things were going to be a bit sloppy out there, especially with so many new guys on the roster.

"I know Spring Games across the country have been kind of dwindling, but we wanted to make sure we did that. We have more players this spring than we've ever had, so it was great to see some of those guys get out there and see how they respond. Like typically what happens when they're out there for the first time, you see some wild things, and then they settle down a bit."

Day knew that the execution wasn't going to be perfect out there. The weather and the injury problems were going to keep them from being a high-level offense. Still, Day was pleased with what he was able to see from the guys in a tough weather situation.

The Buckeyes will now have a few months before Fall camp starts and things start to get real.
