Ross Bjork is already causing Ohio State football fans headaches
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football program has been through a lot in the last couple of weeks. Following the fourth straight loss to Michigan, fans are not happy with Ryan Day. Some of them, including myself, want to see him fired unless he wins a national championship.
Ross Bjork sees things differently. He seems to think the fans are the problem, not Day. He wants fans to lower their expectations instead of demanding more from their head coach. Bjork has been on the job for less than six months and is already starting to clash with the fans.
Bjork mentioned that he expects to see Day as the coach when the Ohio State Buckeyes open up the 2025 season at home against Texas. That means that no matter what happens on December 21st, Day will still have a job. That's just one reason the fans are irked by Bjork.

Bjork wants fans to have lowered expectations, but he still expects them to help fund NIL programs to keep great players. He wants fans to keep spending money at the Shoe. At some point, fans will stop doing all of that if Day keeps losing big games, especially ones to TTUN.
Another reason fans aren't pleased with Bjork is the fact that Tennessee will get a walk-out song during the game against the Buckeyes. There was also a leak when it came to the Ohio State public to buy tickets. Instead, Tennessee fans were able to use a code to buy up a bunch of tickets.
The CFP is likely to fault for those two incidents, but that still doesn't help when added to the issue with Day's job security. He needs to tread carefully. Fans will turn on him quickly if these kinds of things happen.
