2. The Ohio State football team will go undefeated and win the Big Ten

Ohio State has some tough games to play this season. Even though they don't have a hard non-conference schedule for the first time in what seems like a decade, the conference slate is not a cakewalk by any means. They still have to face the best teams in the conference.

Even though the Buckeyes can afford a loss in order to make the College Football Playoff, they will go undefeated and win the Big Ten. They will be able to take down Oregon in Autzen Stadium and beat them in a rematch in the Big Ten Championship Game in Indianapolis.

After beating the Ducks in October, also beating Penn State and Michigan won't be so challenging. Michigan might have two or three losses headed into The Game and the Buckeyes will have the motivation and the roster to finally take on the Wolverines and beat them.

Beating Michigan and advancing to the Big Ten Championship will be enough for Ryan Day to keep his job and get the pressure off his back. He'll be able to carry that momentum into that Big Ten Championship Game and win his third Big Ten title.

Ohio State will get a berth in the College Football Playoff by winning the conference and then will have a chance to win a national championship. Our final bold prediction will tell how the Ohio State football team does in the CFP.
